Our lab members attended the Dutch Lung Congress! Julia Scott was selected to present during the Chiesi Young Investigator session and received a prize of 400 euro in addition to this honour.

We are happy to welcome Julia Scott as a new member of our team. Julia will work as a postdoc on KWF funded project focused on inspecting the role of STAG2 on lineage plasticity in lung cancer.

Our latest study, published in Embo Molecular Medicine, highlights the glucocorticoid receptor's (GR) key role in primary cancer biology, especially in determining ER-positive breast cancer subtypes and patient outcomes.

New publications from our lab! We have written a manuscript for Journal of Clinical Investigation explaining how glucocorticoids augment chemotherapy response in ovarian cancer and also collaborated with the lab of Karolien De Bosscher on their project focused on understanding GR/MR interactions in myeloma

Emmanouela (Emma) Epeslidou and Mehmet Yilmaz joined our lab today. Emma will work on a KFW funded project to dissect the role of STAG2 and transcription factors in lung cancer, while Mehmet will focus on deepening our understaning of transcription factor action in breast and prostate cancer.
